The Balls On The Falls


As I drove home from work yesterday I noticed a man with a tripod and a TV camera heading across the Westlink roundabout at Broadway. It was pouring with rain, and I nearly didn't see the group of important looking people getting drenched over on the grass. I assumed it to be some sort of opening ceremony, and sure enough, when I was going to work this morning there was the Balls On The Falls all lit up for the first time ever. Fortunately I had my camera with me and grabbed this photo

Nice Morning


The sun had just come up as I drove from Warrenpoint towards Rostrevor and Kilkeel. These photos don't really do justice to the great colour that was in the sky or the warm glow from the sun on the Cooley Mountains on the southern side. Carlingford Lough was flat calm
